dining area

APARTMENT COMBINATION By demolishing the wall between two back-to-back apartments, a large living/dining area was created with exposures on two sides and abundant natural light. What was previously the end of a hallway became a pantry separated from the dining room by a sliding barn door.

ABOUT ME

As an Architect, my goal is to find solutions that bridge the divide between modern and traditional design with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable materials.

My approach is grounded in an appreciation of the construction process and a love of well-made objects. I offer full service residential renovations including: developing initial concepts, expanding ideas into drawings, and coordinating with contractors through extensive on-site involvement.

I received my BA from Amherst College in 1995 and my MArch from Parsons School of Design in 2006, where I was awarded the Henry Adams AIA Certificate for my work.
